Shadow Benny

My all time favorite herb. Shadow benny. It goes by many different names depending on the country of origin but that's what we call it in Trinidad, where it's frequently used in a variety of dishes.

It has a similar taste to cilantro but ooooh so much better. It's like cilantro to the 20th power lol. It will kick up the flavor of any dish. Not so tasty eaten alone but when you let it marinate for a while....wow.

Seriously!

You can find it in your local Caribbean, Indian, Spanish or International food market.
